Services

WCFDI has offices and classrooms located in Marion, Lake, Citrus, and Hernando Counties. Sumter County residents may visit one of our local offices and/or contact us Toll Free at 800-226-9838. The classes we offer often are required either by the court or the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Some classes are taken on a voluntary basis for insurance discounts or personal interest. Class dates and times vary in order to accommodate schedules. Some individuals’ driver license may be reinstated by DHSMV simply by showing proof of enrollment in an approved course. Check with the local Driver License or Tax Collector’s Office to determine the requirements related to obtaining or maintaining a valid driving license.

WCFDI has provided programs and services to the Fifth Judicial Circuit since 1985. We pride ourselves in efficient communication with the courts and the DHSMV regarding student compliance with all statutory and administrative requirements to obtain and maintain a valid driving privilege.

This course is not intended to address court ordered attendance of an Aggressive Driving or DWLSR (Driving While License Suspended/Revoked) course. Finally, as the state of Florida does not directly regulate 8-hour courses, we encourage students to secure acceptance of this online 8-hour course by the court with jurisdiction over their case prior to beginning the course.
